Norwegian Course Conversation (Level A2/B1)

Gain confidence in engaging in simple conversations in Norwegian with our conversation course at level A2/B1. Learn to express yourself in everyday situations, ask questions, understand responses, and actively participate in conversations. The course helps you build vocabulary and improve pronunciation, enabling you to communicate more effectively in Norwegian.

What You Will Learn

• Sentences and common expressions related to key areas of daily life, such as family, shopping, local community, and work.
• Words and phrases to justify and explain opinions, plans, and actions.
• How to manage in simple conversations about familiar and routine topics.
• Understanding the main points in standard speech and texts about familiar, everyday subjects.
• Writing longer texts about familiar topics or subjects that interest you.
• Describing experiences, events, and plans.
• Justifying opinions.

These learning objectives apply to the entire A2/B1 level.

Who Is the Course For?

The Norwegian Conversation Course A2/B1 is suitable for those who have completed level A2 and are working toward level B1 or have equivalent knowledge in Norwegian. You aim to become more fluent in conversations with Norwegians, build vocabulary, and improve pronunciation. Unsure of your level? Take our free placement test! 

Course Structure

The course includes listening exercises, group work, role-playing, oral exercises and conversations, as well as presentations and homework. It is conducted in a digital classroom once a week, with two teaching hours per session.

Instructors

Our instructors have a solid background in language or pedagogy, and most teach in their native language. They are dedicated to motivating and engaging course participants, creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Certification

There is no final exam for this course, but you will receive a course certificate with a minimum attendance of 75%.
