Norwegian pre-intermediate course, part 1 of 2 (Level A2)

The Norwegian pre-ntermediate A2 Part 1 course is for those who want to strengthen and develop their basic knowledge of Norwegian. You will receive more speaking practice, expand your vocabulary, and increase your understanding of Norwegian grammar.

Our communicative teaching method encourages active use of the language in practical situations, with plenty of opportunities for practice and repetition to build confidence. This is the first part of our two-part series for level A2.

What You Will Learn:

• Sentences and common expressions related to key areas of daily life, such as family, shopping, local community, and work
• Words and expressions to justify and explain opinions, plans, and actions
• How to manage simple conversations about familiar and routine matters
• How to describe aspects of your own background in simple terms
• How to read and write simple texts on familiar topics

These learning objectives apply to the entire A2 level, with different courses covering various parts of this level.

Who is the Course For?

The Norwegian Intermediate Course Part 1 is suitable for those who have completed level A1 or have equivalent knowledge of Norwegian. The course focuses on pronunciation, numbers and prices, quantifiers, and time expressions. You will learn to request and provide information, give explanations, and express opinions more nuancedly. Course Implementation:

The course includes listening exercises, group work, role play, oral exercises and conversations, presentations, and homework. The course is conducted in a digital classroom twice a week, with three teaching hours per session.

Teachers:

Our teachers have a solid background in languages or pedagogy, and most teach their native language. They are dedicated to motivating and engaging course participants, creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Certification:

There is no exam for this course, but you will receive a certificate of completion with a minimum of 75% attendance. After this course, you should be able to take the Norwegian proficiency test (Norskprøven).
