Scope

These terms and conditions apply to everyone who enrolls in a course or education with E&C Språkkurs AS.

When you purchase a course for yourself or someone else, the enrolled person will gain the right to participate in the chosen course.

Participant's Duty of Inquiry and Information

When you purchase a course, you are obligated to familiarize yourself with these terms and conditions. In addition to the terms, the order confirmation is part of this agreement. The order confirmation, which you receive upon purchase, contains information about the courses you have purchased, the purchase date, and the price.

Changes and Reservations

We reserve the right to require a minimum number of participants for a course to begin. We also reserve the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. Once the course start date is set, you will receive a confirmation 7-10 days before the scheduled start date.

Additionally, E&C Språkkurs AS reserves the right to correct any errors in course information, course descriptions, exam schedules, and other documentation related to each course.

E&C Språkkurs AS has the right to make changes to policies affecting the institution, including changes to course structure, study plans, teaching staff, tuition fees, and more.

One teaching hour in our courses is equivalent to 45 minutes + a 15-minute break.

Right of Withdrawal

When you register for a course, you will receive an order confirmation for your purchase. The order confirmation documents the purchase agreement and is binding. When purchasing a course through our website, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal without providing any further justification, in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act. You must notify us in writing if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can either use the form provided at registration or send an email to [email protected].

If you withdraw from the purchase, E&C Språkkurs AS will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive notification of your withdrawal. You will receive the refund using the same payment method used for the course purchase (see the Payment section) unless you have expressly agreed otherwise with us. No fees will be charged as a result of the refund.

If you purchased a course with an online teaching format and log in to the learning portal before the withdrawal period has expired, you waive your right to withdraw, as per Section 22 of the Right of Withdrawal Act. If your withdrawal period expires after the course start and you choose to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must pay the course fee for the offered instruction up to the day E&C Språkkurs AS receives your decision, in accordance with Section 26 of the Right of Withdrawal Act. You will then be refunded the course fee for instruction that has not yet been provided.

Course Fee and Registration Fee

All courses must be paid for upon registration.

Breach of Agreement

In the event of a material breach of the agreement, the other party (the customer or E&C Språkkurs AS) may terminate the agreement. Notice of breach must be sent in writing to the party believed to have breached the agreement. This must be done within a reasonable time and no later than three weeks from the time the breach was discovered.

Withdrawal After Course Start

If you withdraw after the course has started, you will not be refunded the course fee if your right of withdrawal still applies.

Interruption Due to Illness or Other Social Reasons

If you can provide documentation with a medical certificate showing that you cannot start or complete the course, you may withdraw. In cases of interruption due to force majeure, you must pay for the instruction until the documentation is received by E&C Språkkurs AS.

Personal Data and Privacy

When you register for a course through our website, you are automatically added to our customer database. E&C Språkkurs AS complies with the regulations for storing personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will not share information about our customers with others. You can request access to the information we have registered about you by sending an email to [email protected].

Copying

Forwarding or using, including making changes to or adaptations of, the course or study plan and associated study materials is not allowed. All study materials are protected under the Copyright Act. It is not permitted to make copies in any form, electronic or paper, with the intention of sharing them with others.
